Custom Math Tutoring For Your Child
More specifically, the Russian Math approach is when a thoughtful, but systematic presentation of the course (customized for K-12) that goes along with the presentation of complex concepts to your children. For example, we introduce abstract concepts such as simple algebra and equations from the first grade. Plus, we introduce age-appropriate problem solving, logical processes, patterns and geometry as foundational parts of your child’s development from the very first class.
The Singapore Math approach addresses one of the most fundamental challenges in teaching math– all children learn in unique and different ways. The main difference, compared to most American math programs, is that Singapore Math concentrates of fewer topics at one time, making sure that your child has mastered the material before moving on to more complex mathematical concepts. Our math tutoring, by design, ensures explanations are clear, detailed, and easy to follow, while also emphasizing critical problem solving. The Singapore Math text books foster this learning approach and are an excellent source of supplemental material. They are offered in many different problem and learning levels and start with the first grade.
Overall, we strive to get to know your child, learn their unique learning styles, and lean on the strongest Russian and Singapore educational methods to ensure your child’s academic success.
